Obituary
Lawrence D. Wolchesky, 81, of Hazle Twp., passed away Friday at Lehigh Valley Hazleton. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Mary (Belovescik) Wolchesky.
He was an Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
Preceding him in death, were his grandson Zacharie Smith in 2020; and sister Jean Galade.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, the former Cynthia Holloman; children Tara Frask and husband Chris, Hazle Twp., Gary Smith and wife Renee, VA, Daryl Smith and wife Leighann, Freeland, Tiffany Blank, AR, Tracy Smith and fiance Dave, Freeland; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements. -
