      Joseph J. Holloman Sr., 97, of Hazleton, passed away early Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.  Born in McAdoo he was the son of the late George and Mary (Mehalshick) Holloman and was a member of Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel’s Church, Hazleton.
       
      He was Navy Veteran during World War II and the Korean War.  He was a well-known area contractor for many years.  He was a member of the American Legion, and was an avid outdoorsman and loved picking blueberries.
       
      Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were several of his brothers and sisters; son-in-law James Francis Drasher Jr; grandson Wayne Cusatis; great grandsons James Francis Drasher IV, and Zachary Smith.
       
      Surviving are his wife of 72 years, the former Sadie Deeb; children Marina Caccese and husband John, Ann Drasher, Cynthia Wolchesky and husband Larry, Joseph and George Holloman and wife Michelle, all of Hazleton; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
       
      His services will be held privately. 
       
      The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements.
