Obituary
Angelo J. Christino, 80, of Hazle Twp, passed away unexpectedly Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Rocco “Rex” and Marion (Maccali) Christino.
Angelo graduated from HHS in 1963 and served the greater Hazleton area as the owner and operator of a garage door installation and repair business.
Family was the center of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, the former Marlene Bindus; sons Rocco Christino and wife Angela, grandson Elic of Wayne, PA , son A.J. Christino and wife Ellen, granddaughters Evangeline, and Josie of Baltimore, MD; daughter Noreen Delaney and husband James, granddaughters Megan and her fiancé Andrew Schappell and Allie Delaney of Pt. Pleasant, NJ; sister Guiseppina Wills and husband Joseph of Brick, NJ; brother in law Robert Bindus and sister in law Rose Furnanage; and several nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 27th, at 10 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church, Hazleton. Burial will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday morning in the church from 9-10 A.M.
The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements. -
