Angie M. Lonzetta, 87, passed away peacefully Thursday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg surrounded by her loving daughters.

A Hazleton native, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Camera) DeFina and was a member of Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton. 

Angie graduated Hazleton High School in 1948 and worked in the Miners Bank, West Hazleton.  She loved cooking, baking and entertaining family and friends.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Since 2008 she was a resident of Providence Place, Drums where she had many friends and enjoyed painting and playing bingo.   She will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband of 45 years Anthony Lonzetta; and brother James DeFina.

Surviving are her daughters Mary Lonzetta and her husband Joseph Fadule, Robbinsville, NJ, Lisa Fadule and her husband George, Sugarloaf Township, Andrea Fendrick and her husband Jeffrey, Sugarloaf Township, and Lori Lonzetta and her husband Ron Urioste, Somerset, NJ; grandchildren Kyle Mellon, Maria and Jeffrey Fendrick, and Nicholas and Julia Urioste; and niece Nancy Kapes and her husband Gary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 15th, at 10 A.M. in Most Precious Blood Church.  Burial will be in Most Precious Blood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning in the Church from 9 A.M. until the time of service. 

The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Meals on Wheels of Greater Hazleton.
